A single mother (pregnant) with four children. Young son inadvertently started a fire in the kitchen at 02h00. Fire department advised family that apartment is temporally unfit for habitation until repaired. ARC provided comfort kits and financial assistance to cover food and immediate short-term accommodation needs. ARC’s Ray Carter (no jacket) works with fellow ARC volunteer Steve Wise (jacket) to assist beneficiary.
